Durma receives R&D award from Turkish government

Durma receives R&D awardAfter officially launching in January 2010, the Durma R&D Center received the R&D Center Certificate by the Turkish government. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the ‘R&D Center Certificate’ to Durma President Ali Durmaz.

As the first and only machine tool industry research and development center in Turkey, Durma employs 56 personnel in 8,890 square feet of offices, laboratories and application rooms.

Durma engineers continue their research and development activities on mechanical systems, electronics and mechatronics, as well as software, in order to design new technologies for Durma products. The engineers also evaluate trends to create future technologies.
